Majene, mandarnews.com – Madrasah Tsanawiah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Majene membagikan bantuan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) tahap 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2019-2020 di sekolahnya, Sabtu (9/4). Sebanyak 21 siswa kelas 9 dari Sekolah MTsN 1 Majene yang menerima bantuan PIP pada tahap pertama tahun ini.
Menurut Kepala MTsN 1 Majene Ismail Saleh, S.Pd, M.Pd bantuan PIP merupakan program bantuan dari Pemerintah melalui Kemenag dengan tujuan untuk meringankan beban siswa maupun orang tua siswa yang dikategorikan ekonomi rendah (kurang mampu).
” Jadi ini objeknya diperuntukkan kepada siswa kelas 9 yang mau tamat,” jelas Ismail Saleh, Sabtu (9/5).
Menurutnya, pemberian bantuan PIP kepada siswa yang dikategorikan kurang mampu telah lama dilakukan, yakni berlaku sejak sekitaran tahun 2015 – 2016. Dan dilakukan dari tahun ke tahun.
Lanjut Ismail Saleh, bantuan PIP yang diterima oleh setiap siswa adalah sebesar Rp. 375. 000,- tanpa potongan sepersenpun baik dari pihak Pemerintah maupun dari pihak Madrasah. Dan tahun ini penerima lebih sedikit dibanding dari tahun sebelumnya.
” Jika saya melihat pribadi, tujuan sebenarnya dari bantuan ini tidak lain adalah untuk membantu ekonomi masyarakat atau siswa yang ketegori ekonomi ke bawah (kurang mampu). Karena yang diminta diusulkan kemarin adalah ketegori yang memiliki pendapatan rendah. Jadi kami sebenarnya kemarin mengusulkan ratusan siswa, tetapi yang lolos hanya 21. Untuk tahap pertama,” terangnya.
Sementara untuk Tahap Kedua, Ismail Saleh sebut tidak mengetahui kapan akan dilaksanakan kembali.
Lebih jauh Ismail Saleh menjelaskan, sebenarnya bantuan PIP biasanya dilakukan di Bank, tetapi kini dilakukan di sekolah masing – masing. Karena adanya pandemi Covid-19.
“Jadi sebenarnya sistemnya ini, setiap siswa yang menerima bantuan itu ke Bank membawa rekening masing – masing. Tetapi pihak dari Perbankan, termasuk mungkin hasil komunikasi dari Kementrian Agama maka dikuasakan kepada Kepala Madrasah masing-masing,” jelas Ismail Saleh.
Menurutnya, hal ini dilakukan tidak lain adalah untuk mencegah adanya penyebaran penularan Covid-19 di Kab. Majene dan sekaligus untuk memotong mata rantai penyebaran penularan Covid-19.
“Jadi meski dilakukan di Sekolah, tentu kami melakukan pembagian bantuan secara phisycal distancing. Makanya kami memanggil siswa dan orang tua siswa secara bergelombang untuk menghindari situasi kerumunan,” tukasnya.
Ismail Saleh berharap kepada siswa penerima bantuan dari PIP agar uang yang diterima tersebut meskipun sedikit, tetapi diperuntukan dan dimaksimalkan untuk pembiayaan melanjutkan pendidikan masing-masing siswa, selain juga untuk meringankan beban asap dapur. (Putra)
