Jakarta – Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Imigrasi Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (Kemenkumham) telah menolak masuk sebanyak 118 Warga Negara Asing (WNA) sebagai upaya pencegahan penyebaran Virus Corona (Covid-19).
Kepala Bagian Hubungan Masyarakat (Kabag Humas) dan Umum Ditjen Imigrasi, Arvin Gumilang menyampaikan, jumlah ini dihitung mulai dari tanggal 5-23 Februari 2020 dan diperoleh dari seluruh Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi di Indonesia.
“Jumlah penolakan WNA yang terbanyak terdapat di Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi Ngurah Rai Bali sebanyak 89 orang,” ujar Arvin, Minggu (23/2/2020).
Arvin menjelaskan, WNA yang ditolak masuk wilayah Indonesia tidak hanya dari China, namun beragam seperti Malaysia, Singapura, Amerika Serikat, dan beberapa negara Eropa dan Afrika.
“Alasan penolakan antara lain karena WNA pernah tinggal atau singgah di wilayah China daratan pada 14 hari sebelum memasuki wilayah Indonesia,” kata Arvin.
Hal ini, lanjutnya, menjadi dasar bagi Pejabat Imigrasi di Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi untuk menolak masuk WNA sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Peraturan Menteri Hukum dan HAM RI Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 yang mengatur penghentian sementara bebas visa kunjungan, visa on arrival, dan pemberian izin tinggal keadaan terpaksa bagi WN RRT.
“Selain menolak kedatangan WNA, kami juga telah memberikan Izin Tinggal Keadaan Terpaksa kepada 1.247 WN RRT yang ada di Indonesia,” sebut Arvin.
Ia menerangkan, Izin Tinggal Keadaan Terpaksa diberikan hanya kepada WN RRT yang sudah berada di Indonesia namun izin tinggalnya telah habis dan tidak bisa kembali ke negaranya karena adanya wabah virus corona serta tidak adanya alat angkut yang membawanya kembali ke negaranya.
